1、 Product definition and core differences
Cast iron flap door
Made of gray cast iron, the valve plate and seat are sealed with copper alloy, suitable for one-way water stop, with a standard leakage rate of ≤ 1.25L/min · m.
Advantages: Low cost (about 450-500 yuan/unit for DN600), strong impact resistance, but heavy (30% heavier than steel for the same specifications), and prone to corrosion.
Steel flap door
The main body is made of Q235 carbon steel or stainless steel (304/316), and the sealing surface is made of rubber or polyurethane, supporting bi-directional pressure (≤ 0.1MPa).
Advantages: High strength (tensile strength ≥ 375MPa), light weight (40% lighter than cast iron), but high price (about 20% -30% more expensive for the same specifications).
